Renovation
Keeping a landscape watered properly is an on-going process, each year requiring fine-tuning and sometimes up-dating.
Systems usually need to be renovated when:
- Shrubs and trees grow and mature, blocking the water spray and coverage
- The watering requirements of the shrubs and trees have changed as they have matured
- Flowers and annuals are planted in new areas, which nearly always require more water than established shrubs
- New flower pots are added on patios, pool decks, or inside shrub beds. Flower pots always require more water and more frequent watering than flowers planted in the ground
- New shrub beds are added, which need to be watered on zones separate from the lawn
- Sun and shade conditions on the landscape change
New shrubs, flowers or turf with different sun/shade requirements are planted
- The original system was not properly designed or installed
- Changes have been made through the years resulting in un-matched precipitation rates of heads and nozzles
